The sweet success of failure

Failure is never a good thing unless you are trying to get into Angola that is, three visa rejections and apparently you are black listed, or blue stamped as they call it, that means we can never get into Angola, Nigeria, Gabon or any other place in West Africa, Happy days.....

Home will now be Cyprus for the Hotel Hobo's, that is when we eventually get back there and scout the area for somewhere suitable, the children have their requests in already 'a pool', check! top of the list but it's really rather dependent on where we decide to reside, myself all I want is something modern, clean, light and easily accessible to the delights of town living, country living is not for me, and the beloved prefers nightlife to no life so town living it will be.

Currently we are in Israel and we are loving it, Israel has to be our favourite place to live in the world after Scotland of course, but believe me the weather, the 24 hour party vibe and the crazy Israelis make it hard for us to want to be anywhere else. The smart cars parked sideways in the street, the supermarket stramash when you get to the tills, the crazy undertaking on the motorways do nothing to detract from this wonderful country we were lucky enough to call home for the last two years.

Of course our belongings are still stuck in the port somewhere, all we need is an address and they will be transported to Cyprus, lets hope that we will see them again before the end of the year, but we won't be holding our breath.
